- To feel what happens in a game on your body, something has to sit between the PC or PSVR title and the hardware in real time.

- It finds supported titles on the same Wi-Fi network by itself, takes their events, and relays them over BLE in under 20 ms, alongside firmware update (DFU) and account flows.
- New
- It ships with a Swift SDK folding device state and account state into the SwiftUI lifecycle, so the app and the SDK share one state machine.
bHaptics Player: iOS Application for bHaptics Tactile Device Integration
Abstract
This is the primary project I've dedicated the most time to during my tenure at bHaptics.
Developed an iOS application for bHaptics tactile device users that enables real-time haptic feedback from PC and PSVR games via Bluetooth connectivity. The application automatically detects bHaptics-supported games running on PC or PSVR connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the mobile device. It facilitates communication between the game and tactile devices with less than 20ms latency.
Key Features & Technical Contributions:
- Implemented real-time motor intensity testing interface for tactile devices
- Designed an interactive feature allowing users to draw curves that generate corresponding haptic sensations
- Built device management interfaces including battery monitoring and firmware information configuration
- Engineered firmware update functionality (DFU) with seamless user experience
- Created user profile management and comprehensive onboarding flows
Architectural Achievements:
- Developed a Swift-based SDK that abstracts BLE device communication and user account information
- Implemented state management system that synchronizes real-time device states with SwiftUI lifecycle events
- Integrated Firebase Remote Config and Google Analytics for user experience analysis and optimization
- Accelerated development by creating SwiftUI extensions for company design conventions (color palettes, font faces, buttons, input fields)
- Designed and implemented custom UX components based on HCI principles, including Snapping Closed-Range Slider and Rotating Carousel View
